Create in Space
US Patent Appl. No. 29/866,214

HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT GRAVITY AND LOVE TO CREATE
COCOON is a 3D printing system that takes advantage of a zero-gravity environment. It changes the traditional way of how humans transport and manufacture items.
IMAGINE WHAT WE CAN ARCHIVE WITHOUT THE LIMITATION OF GRAVITY AS AN INTERPLANETARY SPECIES.
The first step to becoming an interplanetary species is: Create and manufacture in zero gravity.

How COCOON works
COCOON builds the part from two plates. Each swing arm has 6-exiles moving at the same time, cocoon can create any tool or product the spacemen need precisely and rapidly.
Each 6-exiles robot arm mounts on a rotating rail which sends the robot arm to the correct position.
The 6-axis Printing Arm
With the help of a specialized designed 6-exiles printing arm, powerful on-wheel motors, and modular body, It allows the user to deliver any form they want, even in zero gravity space.
The Detachable Base
The disposal system
The fan system vaccum the particles during producing, which efficiently prevents the particles to enter the space station.
All the small particles will be gathered into the disposal drawer including a carbon filter
Multi material tray
Support up to 4 different material in the same time.
Explore the detail of COCOON
COCOON intergrade the beauty of practically and engineering. With a light touch of an artist’s hand, technology and design merge.
