Hi, I’m Drake Dong. I have always embraced being different, finding joy in creativity from a young age. Whether it was carving wooden desks or drawing space battle scenes, I’ve always been passionate about creating objects and environments.
As a Product Designer, I am driven by the power of expression and the freedom found in balancing the logical, objective, and creative aspects of design. My work reflects my decision-making process, guided by the passion to understand society's progress and technological development.
I believe design is not just about aesthetics; it's a result of individual choices and free will. Design, to me, is a derivative of art—a result of thoughtful decisions.
My guiding principle is to create designs that reflect the progression of society and technology, providing comfort and solutions rather than merely fulfilling desires. I aim to craft what’s next with a forward-thinking mindset.
My lifetime goal is to continually improve myself, embracing the philosophy that "perfect is the enemy of the good."

I currently work at Prototype 3D and previously worked at iRobot Corporation and Ubtech Robotics. My experience covers industrial design, engineering, robotics, product development, 3D modeling, visualization, and multidisciplinary design execution.

I have provided design services for clients including Walmart, ASUS, and Republic of Gamers, supporting work across industrial design, visual communication, product-related design, branding, and digital content.
